Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced HVAC maintenance professional to oversee maintenance and repairs of hotel systems, including HVAC and refrigeration equipment. You will supervise contractors, ensure safety and service standards, and provide cost-effective maintenance proposals.

The role requires strong communication with management, hands-on technical skills, and a track record of reliable supervision in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs., climb and work at heights.
• Strong reading, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to Guest Service Standards.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety policies and regulations.
• Ensure proper operation of hotel systems and related equipment.
• Handle maintenance requests and log issues promptly.
• Communicate with management regarding building and equipment conditions.
• Provide cost-effective proposals for maintaining systems.
• Supervise external contractors performing hotel maintenance work.
• Follow company rules and training, act as team leader when needed.
• Complete paperwork and log updates.
