Job summary

TDIndustries seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee operation, monitoring, and maintenance of facilities and related systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Plans and delivers service to customers with hands-on work and coaching of staff and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and safety compliance, with responsibility for coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and emergency responders to ensure contract success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience as Facilities Manager or relevant position.
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, presentation and leadership skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Good analytical/critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Manages, coaches, and develops direct reports to achieve performance goals and company objectives.
• Acts as the primary technical resource and on-site point of contact for customers.
• Plans and oversees service delivery to customers, including hands-on work and training for staff and subcontractors.
• Responds to facility service work orders and ensures contract compliance.
• Collaborates with emergency services to safeguard property and personnel.
• Maintains safety records and ensures PPE use and safety meetings are conducted.
