Job summary

UG2, a facility services provider, seeks a Facility Supervisor to lead the facilities department and manage daily operations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will direct maintenance, energy management, and staff development to meet client expectations and company standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in facility management, EPA 608 certification, and strong leadership with budgeting and coordination responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in facility management.
• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing work.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• OSHA 10 certification and Weekly Fire Pump Test Certificate preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, provide training, and develop personnel.
• Coach team on HR processes and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure safety training compliance for all employees.
• Develop operating and capital budgets for facility maintenance.
• Analyze energy use to reduce costs as directed by management.
• Inspect mechanical spaces and resolve issues.
• Perform maintenance tasks and standby duties as required.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Maintain facility document library with plans, manuals, and compliance documents.
• Train staff on building systems and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance with external contractors for effective operations.
• Oversee Electrical, Fire Life Safety, Grounds, HVAC, Plumbing, and Safety.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, clients, property management, and vendors.
• Prepare scopes of work for maintenance contracts, ensuring effective administration.
• Respond to emergencies and address customer concerns.
• Maintain inventory control for parts and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with state, city, and local laws.
• Support Facility Manager with budgeting, scope reviews, bidding process, and monitoring of construction.
• Perform final inspections and expedite corrective actions.
