CBRE in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Sr Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for mechanical and electrical operations across a facility portfolio. You will supervise staff, coordinate with vendors and clients, and ensure preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy management initiatives are executed to meet customer expectations.

This role requires strong leadership, knowledge of building systems, and the ability to work with unions and non-unions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Membership of an engineering related professional body (CIBSE/IEE) preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsabilités

• Oversee maintenance and operations for facilities and assets.
• Supervise staff, set schedules, train, and evaluate performance.
• Direct contractors and engineers on maintenance activities.
• Manage control systems documentation and updates.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients on energy management strategies.
• Support annual operating budgets and cost forecasting.
• Review HVAC drawings and building plans.
