Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC in Spring Hill, TN seeks a Facilities Engineering Manager to lead a large team of engineers and technicians. You will steer planning, procurement, fabrication, installation and upkeep of tooling, striving for high efficiency and minimal downtime.

You will champion safety, mentor engineers, and coordinate with Production, Facilities, Finance and external vendors to drive plant goals and continuous improvement initiatives. A strong engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• Oversee a large group of engineers and technical staff.
• Plan, procure, fabricate, install and maintain tooling in complex situations.
• Develop and administer service contracts.
• Proactively lead safety and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Foster a proactive safety culture within the team.
• Lead talent development: recruiting, mentorship and career progression.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities and Finance to achieve plant goals.
• Maintain open communication with internal and external customers.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Manage budget and seek cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure safety and project specs.
