Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate multi-disciplinary elements from engineering design through commissioning, ensuring projects stay within budget and meet customer requirements. This role demands proactive planning, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering or manufacturing degree preferred.
• Experience creating project plans in Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering design, quality planning, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and final buy-off phases.
• Manage the project within budget and allocate resources as needed.
• Plan project requirements and resources, including sub-contractor elements.
• Anticipate project risks and establish corrective actions.
• Write reports and present progress at management and planning meetings.
• Support safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
