Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC is seeking a Production Engineer - Cell Assembly for an onsite role in Spring Hill, TN. You will work with a technical team to improve equipment, processes, and yield in a highly automated manufacturing setting.

You will coordinate with internal teams and vendors, support safety and quality programs, and drive cost-effective improvements to meet production goals. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math, physics, statistics, engineering (chemical, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical or related).
• 0–3+ years in continuous improvement or manufacturing in a highly automated environment; lithium-ion battery experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak and read English.

Responsibilities

• Engineering work including continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and optimizing manufacturing methods and processes.
• Ensure high yield and productivity in a highly automated environment.
• Train and develop Operators for success in team goals.
