Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Chief Engineer in Huntsville, AL to oversee daily building operations, preventive maintenance, and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems. You will lead staff and vendors, implement safety plans, and ensure high workmanship standards in a dynamic facilities environment.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage energy usage and environmental responsibilities while delivering monthly performance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as Chief Engineer or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of safety plans and building maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Supervise staff, subcontractors and vendors.
• Implement site safety plans and ensure compliance.
• Maintain CMMS and monitor maintenance schedules.
• Prepare monthly reports on labor and utilities.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical, mechanical and safety topics.
