Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in maintenance.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Must be licensed per current standards, codes and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Meet the maintenance needs of the facility.
• Address hazards to residents or staff and maintain a safe environment.
• Replace, repair, and purchase items per facility policy.
• Plan and implement a preventive maintenance program and document it.
• Maintain weather protection and safe building grounds in all weather conditions.
• Supervise outside contractors.
• Serve on-call for emergencies and off-hours.
• Demonstrate safety techniques per policy and training.
• Ensure privacy practices to protect residents’ health information.
