Job summary

Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance department, ensure a safe, comfortable facility, and supervise staff.

This salaried, full-time role requires a minimum of three years supervisory experience, knowledge of boilers and building systems, ability to read blueprints and interpret codes, and strong leadership to plan, organize, and oversee repairs, safety, and grounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years supervisory experience in maintenance/plant roles.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and building systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret codes and safety regs.
• Familiarity with life safety regulations and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the maintenance department.
• Follow maintenance programs to prevent and correct issues.
• Maintain floors, walls, ceilings, and overall facility condition.
• Oversee grounds, parking areas, and exterior upkeep.
• Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.
• Order supplies within budget and PAR levels.
• Inspect resident rooms and common areas for safety and repairs.
• Run errands for parts and equipment; ensure safe operations.
