Job summary

Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet, NJ seeks a Director of Maintenance to lead the maintenance department and ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

The role requires hands-on leadership with responsibility for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and daily operations, including supervising staff and coordinating preventative maintenance. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance management experience required.
• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all building maintenance operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, generators, and general repairs.
• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and proper equipment function.
• Maintain repair, inspection, and warranty records.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and facility improvements.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards.
