Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Sr. Member of Technical Staff - Facilities/Construction Project Management to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex semiconductor tooling and facilities construction projects onsite in Essex Junction.

You will act as Owner’s Representative, collaborating with the on-site Construction Manager, GC, engineering, and operations to meet safety, schedule, cost, quality, and uptime goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (engineering, construction management, or architecture).
• 8+ years managing construction, engineering, or industrial capital projects.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.
• Experience as Owner’s Representative, Construction Project Manager, or client-side PM.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, engineering teams, suppliers, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and change management.
• Travel (domestic and/or international) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and ready for operations.
• Manage semiconductor tool-installation and infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning.
• Act as Owner’s Representative, driving safety, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and operational readiness.
• Develop execution plans, manage risks and changes, resolve issues, and provide leadership reporting.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers, General Contractors, engineering, Facilities, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee cleanroom projects, tool installation and hookups, facility utilities, HVAC, electrical systems, and specialty gas/chemical systems.
• Ensure seamless commissioning, startup, and project turnover.
