Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Sr Manager/Deputy Director, Construction & Capital Programs to lead a $500M-$1B semiconductor capital portfolio at Fab 9 in Essex Junction, VT. You will interface with the General Contractor, drive strategy, governance, risk, and executive reporting to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives.

You will lead internal teams and contractors, foster a culture of safety and operational excellence, and manage large-scale cleanroom and facility construction

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 15+ years leading industrial construction.
• 15+ years leading large industrial construction projects with a focus on semiconductor facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of a $500M-$1B semiconductor capital program.
• Act as primary liaison with the General Contractor and oversee performance, safety, quality, and schedule.
• Drive governance, risk management, reporting, and alignment with business goals.
• Lead and develop construction and project management teams; foster safety and accountability.
