Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a senior IT professional to lead and deliver high-availability healthcare software across on‑premise and cloud platforms. You’ll guide a fast‑paced team, drive design, development, testing and support, and influence architectural decisions while staying current with IT best practices.

You’ll bring 8+ years in related fields, strong TriZetto Facets experience, and a track record of leadership and delivering complex solutions in a healthcare payer context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in a related IT field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of related field experience accepted.
• 5+ years of hands-on TriZetto Facets experience including configuration and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
• Conduct discovery to understand complex business problems and opportunities.
• Evaluate buy vs. build options and communicate recommendations.
• Analyze and resolve development and production issues with timely communication.
• Stay current with technology trends and IT best practices.
