Blue Cross NC is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the design, development, testing and support of our on-premise and cloud-based software solutions. You will act as a technical expert, guiding a fast-paced, agile team to deliver high-availability systems for healthcare payers.

Responsibilities include leading TriZetto Facets configurations and integrations, mentoring juniors, and providing strategic recommendations on build vs. buy, while staying ahead of technology trends.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Configure, customize, integrate and support TriZetto Facets payer solutions.
• Write clean, efficient code to support complex IT solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to IT staff and partner teams.
• Conduct discovery to understand complex business problems and execute assignments.
• Evaluate buy-vs-build options and advise management.
• Analyze and communicate solution options for development and production issues.
