Job summary

Thomas Young Group in New York, NY is seeking a licensed professional engineer or registered architect to lead façade investigations and restoration projects. You will perform site visits, prepare technical drawings and reports, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and legal teams across NYC projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in architectural/engineering consulting, strong façade systems experience, and familiarity with NYC codes, with on-site work including at height and varied

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect.
• 5+ years in architectural or engineering consulting.
• Strong experience with façade systems and NYC FISP inspections.
• Background in façade restoration, forensic work, or litigation support.
• Comfortable preparing reports, bid documents, and technical specifications.
• Ability to contribute to expert witness work such as depositions or mediations.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, BricsCAD, or Revit.
• Good understanding of NYC building codes and local regulations.
• Comfortable working on site, including at height and in different weather conditions.
