Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage facade inspection and restoration projects from inception through completion.

This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong background in building inspections, façade assessments, restoration, and construction administration. The successful candidate will spend significant time in the field performing building evaluations while supporting the design and execution of restoration projects throughout New York City.

Responsibilities

• Manage facade inspection and restoration projects from inception through completion.
• Lead FISP (Local Law 11) inspections and coordinate field investigations.
• Prepare and review facade inspection reports, repair recommendations, and filing documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Manage project teams, including architects, engineers, and field staff.
• Oversee construction administration services, including site visits, RFIs, submittals, and progress meetings.
• Review shop drawings, repair details, and contractor documentation.
• Ensure projects comply with NYC DOB regulations, FISP requirements, and applicable building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing facade inspection and restoration projects.
• Strong knowledge of NYC FISP (Local Law 11), facade systems, and building envelope construction.
• Experience preparing technical reports and construction documents.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
