Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Lead Fabrication Follow-Up Engineer to serve as the main interface between APX Supply Chain and Engineering, guiding technical decisions and ensuring on-schedule manufacturing. You will lead engineering reviews, route WPRO documentation, and collaborate with Commercial and Delivery Stream Engineers to ensure compliance and traceability across the PO lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical production/manufacturing discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of applicable experience.
• Ability to communicate with people in a multicultural environment with time zone differences.
• Demonstrated leadership competency and prior experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate review and approval of engineering documents/drawings through Engineering.
• Serve as primary interface across internal engineers, supply chain, and management.
• Field high-level technical questions on design and fabrication topics and provide guidance.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams and adjust priorities to maintain progress.
• Mentor and develop team members to elevate technical capability.
• Provide escalation support to APX engineering and leadership for technical issues.
