Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Lead Engineer of AP1000 Module Fabrication to provide engineering leadership for fabrication support of AP1000 modules across the United States and international plants.

The role reports to the Engineering Manager of Structural Design and Modules. It offers a hybrid work arrangement with on-site collaboration two days per week at Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC. Strong nuclear-quality and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership experience in engineering projects.
• Experience with AP1000 module fabrication and construction.
• Familiarity with European and US nuclear quality standards and change control.
• Experience managing engineering teams and delivering on time.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and oversight of AP1000 module fabrication.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to support fabricators.
• Integrate external partners into the Fab Follow Engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvement of products, processes and procedures.
• Mentor and train engineers in fabrication and construction support.
• Set day-to-day activities for the FFE team and ensure processes are followed.
