Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an experienced engineer to lead equipment move-in and start-up for a new semiconductor factory. The role involves macro planning across departments to align stakeholders and drive complex projects to successful completion.

You will coordinate expansion efforts, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure flawless execution with internal teams and external vendors. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Competenze

• 4 year STEM degree required.
• 6+ years experience in facilities or high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with project management preferred.
• Industrial equipment hookup experience highly preferred.
• Factory start-up / retrofit experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Mansioni

• Support expansion planning including budgeting, installation and qualification of equipment.
• Coordinate, manage and report on multiple projects regarding progress, accounting, and forecasted schedule.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 high volume manufacturing environment.
• Solve problems by identifying causes, gathering information, generating solutions, and recommending/remedial actions.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
• Measure project performance, report and forecast progress.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and update project scope for complex projects.
• Set up timelines/schedules and present to the customer.
• Develop and maintain records and files for efficient operation.
