Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join the Facilities Engineering Team. You will tackle complex challenges in Exhaust and Process Systems, lead improvement projects, review designs, and oversee operations in a 24/7 wafer fab environment.

The role emphasizes process safety, reliability, and efficiency, with startup/commissioning involvement and collaboration across maintenance, operations, and project teams. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical/plant operations or design engineering.
• Experience with facilities operations, reliability engineering, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Exhaust and Process systems in a 24/7 semiconductor fab.
• Lead root-cause analysis and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement SOPs to standardize work.
• Participate in startup/commissioning activities and testing.
