Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, Texas, is seeking an Equipment Installation Engineer to bring machinery from crate to production readiness. The role blends mechanical, electrical, and project management skills to install, align, test, and validate complex equipment on site.

You will read CAD drawings, schematics, and P&IDs, perform electrical testing and troubleshooting, and coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or closely related field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and diagnostic electrical tools.
• Certification in LOTO and OSHA or equivalent safety standards.
• 1–3 years of field service, installation, or commissioning experience.

Responsabilidades

• Read machine drawings, CAD layouts, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Diagnose power or vibration issues and perform electrical testing.
• Rigging, lifting, and site safety using LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and installation teams.
• Conduct Site Acceptance Tests and calibration.
• Maintain installation logs and as-built drawings.
• Ensure timely project completion with proper documentation.
