Job summary

Meadow Ridge, a Benchmark Senior Living Community, in Redding, CT, is seeking a Full-Time Dining Services Manager to lead our dining outlets, including a 5-star restaurant, a Café, and an upcoming Pub.

Report to the Director of Dining Services, you will hire, supervise and train staff, maintain high standards of appearance, hospitality and cleanliness, and ensure exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management preferred.
• Minimum of one year supervisory front-of-house experience in a restaurant, hotel, club or similar setting.
• Ability to communicate empathetically with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Courteous, friendly attitude with residents at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manage service across outlets including a restaurant, Café, and upcoming Pub.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, hospitality and dining room cleanliness.
• Hire, supervise, train, and counsel dining room staff to deliver excellent service.
