Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Dining Services Manager in Briarcliff Manor, NY. You will oversee day-to-day operations of all dining services, manage purchasing, budgets, and ensure food safety and residents' dietary needs are met.

With a salary of $95k, the role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and high-quality dining experiences for residents, while leading staff and maintaining compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of previous Food Service experience required.
• Serv Safe and/or other required local, county or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and often.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day dining services operations at the community.
• Responsible for purchasing of all dining food and nonfood items and ensure 95% DSSI ordering compliance.
• Balance and maintain budgets for raw food and supplies.
• Utilize standard recipes for meal production.
• Ensure food is served at proper temperature and portion sizes and adheres to food safety policies.
• Accommodate residents' prescribed diets when applicable.
• Drive resident satisfaction through hospitality and service quality.
• Develop and implement dining department operating and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct pre-meal dining stand-ups with staff to review daily menus.
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations and inspections.
• Ensure dining areas are clean and safe, perform monthly sanitation audits.
• Interview, train, hire, discipline, and manage dining staff; schedule labor within budget.
