Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Redding, CT is seeking a Full-Time Dining Services Manager to lead the dining operations for Independent Living outlets, including a 5-star restaurant, a Café, and a Pub planned for the near future.

You will hire, supervise, train, and mentor dining room staff, ensure top-notch hospitality, appearance, and cleanliness, and collaborate with the Dining Services leadership team to deliver outstanding resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s in Hotel/Restaurant Management preferred.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in front-of-house operations.
• Ability to communicate with and empathize with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage all service aspects of Independent Living outlets including a 5-star restaurant, a Café and a Pub planned for the near future.

Meadow Ridge is currently seeking a Full-Time Dining Services (F&B) Manager

Salary Range: $65000-$75000

Job Summary:

• In partnershp with the other Dining Services managers this position is responsible for for managing all service aspects of our different Independent Living outlets that includea 5 star level restaurant, a Café and soon to come Pub venue.

• Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining room.

• Hire, supervise, train, andcounseldining room staff with a focus on leading the team to excellent levels of customer service.

This position reports to the Director of Dining Services and will be an integralmember ofthe Dining Services management teamcomprisedof the Assistant Director of Dining Services, twoadditionalDining Services Managers and the Culinary leadership team.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent. Associate’sdegree or courses in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred.

• A minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience in front of the house operations within a restaurant, hotel,clubor similar institution. Bartending and bar management experiencean added plus.

• Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, work with and be tolerant of residents, patients, families, visitors, peers, supervisors,subordinatesand other outside contacts.

• Must be able to maintain a courteous,friendlyand helpful attitude with the residents at all times.

• Demonstrated knowledge ofappropriate skillsfor communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the Senior population.
