Qualifications

• 2+ years in a dietary or culinary role, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage kitchen operations and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, preparation, and presentation of meals, including menu planning, food purchasing, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and dietitians.
• Coordinate with nursing, activities, and housekeeping to ensure seamless service.
• Monitor food quality, safety, and sanitation, and implement improvements as needed.
• Manage food budgets, inventory, and supplies.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare providers to meet personalized dietary needs.
