Job summary

The Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Food & Beverage Manager to oversee operations across all outlets, drive guest experiences, and lead the beverage and service teams to deliver outstanding results. You will plan, promote, and coordinate private dining events, manage menus with the Executive Chef, and collaborate with sales and marketing to maximize revenue.

Qualifications

• More than 2 years of college education in related fields.
• Three years of experience in food and beverage leadership roles.
• Flexible scheduling and ability to work varied hours.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Knowledge of reservation platforms OpenTable and Tock.

Responsibilities

• Create, promote promotions to drive business volume into the outlets.
• Understand service standards for the outlets and F&B operations.
• Manage reservations for Kingbird, The Next Whisky Bar and Top of the Gate.
• Drive profitability through cost control, labor management, and P&L oversight.
• Lead beverage program strategy including menu development and vendor relations.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef on menus and events.
• Hire, train, and coach FOH and bar staff to uphold standards.
• Respond to trends and guest feedback to enhance future sales.
