Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a test pilot to support the F-16 program at Edwards AFB, with opportunities to work on multiple aircraft projects. The role requires leadership, strong technical abilities, and a focus on flight test execution and reporting.

The candidate will develop PVI, flight test requirements, and serve as a subject matter expert for performance aspects of the F-16, including planning and run card development. Travel will be required as part of duties.

Qualifications

• FAA commercial pilot certificate (SE land, Instrument)
• Current FAA Class I or II medical certificate
• 1,000 hours first-pilot time in a tactical aircraft
• DOD Test Pilot School (TPS) graduate
• Must be willing to travel and have a valid U.S. passport
• F-16 flight experience

Responsibilities

• Test aircraft to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability.
• Operate models of test aircraft during engineering flight tests, production acceptance, and flight test support.
• Provide mature leadership and guidance in support of the F-16 program; duties include flight test planning and run card development.
• Fly all models of the F-16 and participate in mission types including experimental, developmental, production, and customer demonstrations.
