Job summary

CAE in Arlington, Texas seeks a Test Director to lead the testing and evaluation of military simulations and training devices. You will oversee integration, test and deployment activities, coordinating with engineers and customer teams to meet verified program requirements.

The role requires a DoD security clearance, extensive test leadership experience, and the ability to travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites. Regular, full-time position with demanding schedules and potential off-hours work.

Qualifications

• SECRET security clearance required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (customer users, USAF, USN SMEs).
• Ability to lead a team of engineers.
• Experience interfacing with customers and end users.
• Pilot experience preferred in Block 40,50 F-16.
• Willingness to travel to site for installs and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of system design, including requirements definition.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for their application.
• Manage hardware & software system integration.
• Conduct mission environment testing.
• Lead all test effort; system tests, acceptance tests, configuration, scheduling, and customer interface.
• Write test plans, conduct tests, document results, and ensure discrepancy resolution.
• Manage discrepancy review boards.
• Monitor and control testing aspects of the program for cost, schedule and technical issues.
