Job summary

Saint-Gobain Life Sciences is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shift teams in Beaverton, ensuring safe operations and high quality silicone products. You will monitor Schedule Adherence and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), coach staff, and coordinate with support functions to meet plant objectives.

We require a technical degree or related experience, 5+ years supervision in manufacturing, 3+ years leading others, and proficiency with MS Office and MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical field or business administration required; alternatives for 10+ years experience.
• 10+ years experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years as production supervisor in manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years direct supervision and development of others.
• Proficient with computers and spreadsheet software; experience with business systems (MS Office).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or WCM required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, independence, and cost-consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift employees to ensure safety and product quality.
• Manage Schedule Adherence and %OEE by department.
• Facilitate problem-solving on the production floor.
• Conduct process and product quality audits and address customer complaints.
• Fully utilize MRP systems for daily data input/output.
• Coach and develop direct reports.
• Coordinate with support departments to meet objectives.
• Promote safety, environmental and quality policy adherence.
