Job summary

Accentuate Staffing partners with a growing manufacturer to recruit a Senior Production Supervisor in Wake Forest, NC. This role leads daily operations, develops frontline leaders, and drives continuous improvement to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals.

You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Planning to ensure readiness and customer satisfaction while fostering a culture of accountability and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant leadership experience.
• Six+ years supervising teams in regulated manufacturing (medical device/pharma).
• Experience leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, GMP or similar regulation.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive sustainable improvements.

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production areas, ensuring targets, quality, safety, and delivery commitments are met.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production staff and frontline leaders while fostering accountability and engagement.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on process improvements, productivity, and efficiency gains.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and other departments to support readiness and customer requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics, labor utilization, and production costs while identifying optimization opportunities.
• Support compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements, audits, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production areas, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety expectations, and delivery commitments are consistently met.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production staff and frontline leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on process improvement, productivity, efficiency gains, waste reduction, and overall manufacturing performance.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and other departments to support production readiness, resolve operational challenges, and ensure successful execution of customer requirements.
• Monitor departmental performance metrics, labor utilization, training effectiveness, and production costs while identifying opportunities for improvement and resource optimization.
• Support compliance with quality systems, regulatory standards, audits, inspections, training requirements, and corrective action initiatives to maintain operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing leadership experience.
• Six or more years of experience supervising and developing teams within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
• Demonstrated success leading production operations and implementing Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience working within quality-driven manufacturing environments governed by standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, GMP, or equivalent regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
• Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships, develop employees, identify root causes, and implement sustainable process improvements.
