Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed seeks a Process Engineer to improve production processes, lead new line startups, and optimize throughput. You will investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and manage capital projects while promoting safety and cost reduction across the plant.

The role requires a BS in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and 3–5 years in related fields, with extrusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in Mechanical/Process/Manufacturing Engineering; extrusion industry experience required
• 1 year of Six Sigma project experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands-on assistance to Manufacturing personnel on the Siding production floor to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
• Develop and document operating procedures.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis investigations for Quality and Yield issues.
• Submit and manage capital projects.
• Advance SPG safety initiatives.
• Deliver on SPG cost reduction initiatives.
