Job summary

Horizon3 is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company focused on autonomous pentesting with the NodeZero platform. This Staff Attack Engineer will lead external attack capabilities, set the research and content roadmap, and raise the bar for engineers building alongside you.

This role turns manual recon into safe, repeatable workflows and produces production-safe tooling for large external attack surfaces, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Senior offensive security exposure with leadership experience.
• Experience building reconnaissance and discovery systems at scale.
• Ability to turn messy external data into actionable information.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable reconnaissance workflows in production-grade Python.
• Research large volumes of external data and convert into actionable intel.
• Develop parsing/enrichment for hard-to-reason data and maintain accuracy.
• Automate multi-step attack workflows from discovery to post-exploitation.
• Mentor attack engineers and promote code quality and safety.
