Job summary

Horizon3 is a fully remote cybersecurity company building the NodeZero autonomous pentest platform. We seek a Senior Attack Engineer to drive external attack workstreams within production-grade workflows and data models.

You’ll reduce manual recon into safe, repeatable processes, working across large attack surfaces and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a high-impact role focused on research, automation, and building scalable offensive tooling with a strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years in offensive security, with tooling experience.
• Experience building reconnaissance systems at scale.
• Ability to parse large messy external data into usable information.
• Experience automating multi-step attack workflows end-to-end.
• Strong Python production-quality code experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Passion for building production-ready autonomous tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable reconnaissance workflows in production-grade Python.
• Research, explore, and parse large volumes of external-facing data to create actionable information.
• Develop robust parsing/enrichment for hard-to-reason data such as banners, web content, and documents.
• Collect, store, and connect high volumes of information; extend attack-path modeling and graph data.
• Traverse identity relationships to find paths from exposure to compromise.
• Automate multi-step attack workflows ending in safe, proven paths.
• Research external tradecraft and turn into production attack content.
• Stand up and maintain representative test environments to validate attack scenarios.
• Build for production safety and scale, respecting targets and rate limits.
• Contribute to roadmap based on customer environments and threat intel.
• Mentor teammates and define team standards for code quality and safety.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer teams; author docs.
