Horizon3 is hiring a Staff Attack Engineer for the Rapid Response team to research and productize real-world exploitation techniques. You will create safe, repeatable attack capabilities to help customers understand and mitigate actively exploited vulnerabilities, including KEVs, CVEs, N-Days, and Zero-Days across diverse environments.

This fully remote role requires ownership, strong communication, and the ability to convert attacker tradecraft into automated modules for Horizon3 and NodeZero.

Formación

• Strong Python and software engineering skills with production-grade tooling.
• Solid penetration testing, vulnerability research, and exploit-development fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networks, applications, identity systems, cloud environments or endpoints.
• Ability to reproduce vulnerabilities and convert manual techniques into reliable automation.
• Understanding of attack chains, trust boundaries, and lateral movement.

Responsabilidades

• Research and reproduce high-consequence vulnerabilities across enterprise environments.
• Study attacker tactics, procedures, and campaigns observed in the wild.
• Turn vulnerability research into safe, repeatable proof-of-exploit modules for Rapid Response and NodeZero.
• Demonstrate realistic impact including privilege escalation and data access.
• Validate remediation by safely retesting vulnerabilities and controls.
• Improve execution speed, reliability, and evidence quality.
