Horizon3.ai is seeking a Staff Attack Engineer to be the technical lead for internal network and Active Directory attack capabilities within NodeZero, our autonomous pentesting platform.

The role requires deep AD expertise, production-grade Python, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable attack content. You will mentor peers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to extend our offensive security capabilities.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on offensive experience against Active Directory and internal enterprise networks.
• Strong Python programming skills with production-grade capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead high-complexity, high-risk security projects and mentor teammates.
• Experience with modern AD tradecraft and enterprise security tooling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for internal-network and Active Directory attack capabilities across NodeZero.
• Research and translate AD attack techniques into production attack content.
• Design, build, and maintain production-grade Python code powering these capabilities.
• Focus on hardened environments and attack paths even with deprecations and stronger controls.
• Mentor engineers and set direction for attack content and research roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams, author internal and external research.
