Job summary

Pilot Company in Indianapolis seeks an experienced electrical technician to diagnose and repair exterior signs and lighting at travel centers. You will identify issues, perform analysis, and complete service visits while following lockout/tagout and OSHA safety protocols.

Candidates need a high school diploma, 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, and preferably a journeyman license. Aerial lift experience at 60–80 feet is required; travel is less than 75% and a safety-focused mindset is

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum five years’ commercial electrical experience.
Electrical journeyman license preferred.
Minimum three years aerial lift and electrical experience at heights 60 to 80 feet required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair exterior signs & lighting work orders.
Identify problems with electrical signage and lighting; analyze issues and determine repairs (ballasts, lamps, sockets, switches, fixtures; 120–480V).
Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
Complete service appointments and communicate with maintenance for repairs and installs.
Ensure timely completion of service appointments and accurate notes.
Report repair status to supervisor and management; maintain records and charge allocations.
