Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking an experienced Exteriors Signs & Lighting Technician to diagnose and repair sign and lighting systems at multiple locations. You will analyze issues, select optimal repair approaches, and perform preventive maintenance while following lockout/tagout and OSHA safety protocols.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, excellent communication with supervisors and store management, and travel to job sites with a focus on safety and quality repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years’ commercial electrical experience; seven years preferred.
• Electrical journeyman license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair exterior signs and lighting work orders.
• Troubleshoot electrical signage issues, including ballasts, lamps, sockets, fixtures, and wiring up to 480 volts.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete service appointments with detailed notes and communicate status to management.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, parts inventory, and uniforms; ensure OSHA compliance.
