Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a skilled electrician to diagnose and repair exterior signs and lighting across locations. You will identify issues, perform analyses, and implement durable fixes for components from ballasts to fixtures, while following lockout/tagout and OSHA standards.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, safe operation at heights, and coordination with store maintenance for timely repairs. Travel is required but under 75% with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years’ commercial electrical experience; seven years preferred.
• Electrical journeyman license preferred.
• Minimum three years aerial lift experience at heights 60–80 feet; five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Exterior Signs & Lighting work orders.
• Identify problems with electrical signage and lighting; analyze and determine repairs.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols when working on electrical or mechanical systems.
• Complete service appointments, insert notes, and communicate with facility maintenance.
• Ensure timely completion of service appointments and report repair status to ESL supervisor.
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and vehicle; travel less than 75%.
