Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a skilled Exterior Signs & Lighting Technician to diagnose and repair electrical sign and lighting work orders across our locations. You will analyze issues and perform repairs (ballasts, lamps, sockets, switches, fixtures) for voltages 120 to 480, following lockout/tagout and OSHA safety standards, completing service notes, and coordinating with ESL supervisors and store management to report status.

Travel is less than 75%, OSHA30 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years’ commercial electrical experience; seven preferred.
• Electrical journeyman license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Exterior Signs & Lighting work orders.
• Analyze issues and determine best repair solutions (ballasts, lamps, sockets, switches, fixtures).
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards.
• Complete service notes and communicate repair status to supervisors/store management.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, parts, and inventory; ensure site safety and cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service to on-site team members.
