Job summary

Google is seeking an experienced specialist for the Extended Workforce Investigations (xWI) team within People Operations. The role focuses on conducting and guiding investigations into policy violations affecting Google's extended workforce, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.

We partner with xWS, Employment Legal and other teams to mitigate risk while upholding Google's standards and conduct. Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in employee relations/investigations in HRBP or Employment Law roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute investigations and grievance resolutions for complex policy violations involving Google's extended workforce.
• Track evolving risk landscape and escalate non-compliance to stakeholders.
• Mitigate co-employment and extended workforce risks with cross-functional teams.
• Influence executives to strengthen awareness of co-employment risk and compliance.
• Use data to inform training and program improvements across Extended Workforce.
