Job summary

The Extended Workforce Investigations (xWI) team at Google sits within People Operations and focuses on fair, compliant handling of the extended workforce. We investigate policy violations, provide guidance, and collaborate with xWS, Employment Legal, and other teams to reduce risk.

In this role you will influence senior leaders, manage complex investigations, and help shape training and policy that governs co-employment and contingent workforce practices across our global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• 10 years of experience in employee relations/investigations in HRBP or Employment Law roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute thorough investigations and grievance resolution for complex policy violations involving Google's extended workforce.
• Serve as SME by tracking risk landscape and escalating policy non-compliance to key stakeholders.
• Mitigate co-employment and xWS risks by reviewing issues and implementing corrective action recommendations.
• Influence executive leaders to strengthen awareness and compliance within teams regarding co-employment risk and contingent workforce management best practices.
• Use investigation data to inform risk mitigation initiatives, training, and program improvements.
