Job summary

Dane Street is seeking an Expert Witness Recruiter to expand our network of physicians, engineers, and scientists for litigation support. You will source, evaluate, onboard, and maintain high-caliber experts while negotiating retention terms and managing OSRs to meet tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in specialized recruiting, strong research skills, and experience with ATS/CRM systems. This is predominantly remote with occasional travel for industry events.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of specialized recruiting experience, ideally within an expert network firm, litigation support agency, insurance defense firm, or legal staffing environment.
• Proven track record sourcing non-traditional, highly technical roles (e.g., engineers, financial analysts, scientists).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, expand, and strategically source Dane Street’s network of expert witnesses, onboarding high-caliber professionals.
• Negotiate retention fees within guidelines and ensure OSRs are resolved promptly.
• Onboard new expert witnesses, collect CVs, certifications, fee schedules, W9s, and conduct background checks.
• Maintain existing expert records and coordinate with Director of Operations on fee structures.
• Fulfill high-priority OSRs by locating and qualifying specialized professionals and provide updates.
