Job summary

Dane Street is seeking an Expert Witness Recruiter to grow and manage its network of specialized experts, including physicians, engineers, and scientists. You will negotiate retention terms, onboard new specialists, and keep OSRs resolved promptly.

Remote-first role with occasional travel; you will leverage research, industry connections, and strong communication to fill niche talent gaps supporting legal and insurance operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of specialized recruiting experience.
• Experience sourcing engineers, scientists, and other technical experts.
• Knowledge of professional credentials, CVs, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, expand, and strategically source Dane Street’s expert witness network.
• Onboard new expert witnesses and collect required documentation (CVs, certifications, fee schedules, W9s, background checks).
• Negotiate retention fees within guidelines and finalize fee structures with the Director of Operations.
• Close OSRs by locating and qualifying specialized professionals and providing progress updates.
• Collaborate with operations to align the expert network with pipeline demand.
• Stay current on industry trends and evidentiary standards relevant to legal/insurance operations.
