Job summary

Seatrium Offshore Technology USA, Inc. seeks an expediter to track, manage, and expedite orders through release to customers. The role requires interfacing with Engineering, Procurement and QA to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate documentation.

You will work with SAP, MS Excel, and other tools to monitor progress, generate reports, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams across projects.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years expediting experience.
• Proficient with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Proficient with SAP.
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
• Impeccable communication skills both written and verbally

Responsibilities

• Use SAP or reports to expedite suppliers for on time deliveries for assigned projects based on technical specifications.
• Coordinate and define required expediting-tasks for all placed purchase orders.
• Contact suppliers & update progress and expediting reports as needed.
• Confirm delivery schedules and address any delays.
• Maintain, follow-up and control supplier contractual agreed dates.
• Issue regular expediting status reports as required.
• Visit suppliers to verify status of progress or review corrective actions.
• Initiates action to remedy situations within scope of authority.
• Confirms the warehouse personnel has the order and/or walks or calls order to the warehouse to initiate order process.
• Follows up with each department to ensure timely processing.
• Follow-up QA releases.
• Coordinate shipping with Logistics.
• Take positive steps in consultation with Engineering, Procurement, and quality, when possible, to improve vendor performance as demanded by schedule.
