Job summary

Bowman is seeking an experienced Expeditor to monitor purchase orders, ensuring materials and documents arrive on time and aligned with project schedules. You will interface with vendors and project teams to maintain supplier performance and mitigate delays.

Responsibilities include expediting production, tracking progress, coordinating with logistics, and ensuring changes to cost or schedule are communicated. A strong focus on communication, problem-solving, and timely delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field; seven years of relevant experience OR ten years in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 7 years' hands-on expeditor experience monitoring vendor progress, schedules and on-time delivery.
• Oil & Gas EPC industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with vendors to ensure prompt delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Expedite vendor-related production; track manufacturing progress and delays; verify shipping schedules for on-time delivery.
• Schedule kick-off and biweekly meetings after PO issuance to establish requirements and contacts.
• Ensure schedule adherence by vendors and that deliverables are provided.
• Resolve issues with late deliveries, quality/discrepancies, or failure to meet order requirements.
• Coordinate with supplier and logistics for material transportation.
• Communicate any changes to order cost or schedule clearly.
• Inform project team of potential schedule impacts.
• Oversee order close-out and coordinate inspections.
