Job summary

Aquatech International seeks an Expeditor in Houston, TX, to support the Procurement team. This part-time position focuses on monitoring progress between fabricators and Procurement, expediting purchases, and coordinating with project management, engineering and quality control to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a 2-year degree and strong communication skills, with up to 25% travel. Responsibilities include generating RFQ packages, reviewing quotes, and maintaining ISO-aligned

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement docs and records.
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for reviewing quotations and vendor data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress between fabricator and Procurement to identify schedule improvements.
• Provide reports to the Procurement Director after each visit.
• Prepare RFQ packages and bid tabulations for supplier bids.
• Review quotations and recommend vendor selections.
• Create procurement requisitions with scope, drawings, specs, ITP, etc.
• Manage POs including kick-off meetings, status reviews, expediting, and inspections.
