Job summary

MANTECH is seeking an Exercise Planner in Doral, FL to lead the development, execution, and evaluation of comprehensive exercise plans. The role requires coordinating with government stakeholders to ensure readiness and alignment with strategic objectives. You will design realistic training scenarios and lead after-action reviews.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in operational planning or exercise design, with a background in government/military environments and knowledge of JPP/MDMP and HSEEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, homeland security, military science, or related field, or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged.
• 5+ years of experience with operational planning and/or exercise design.
• Experience in government or military operational environments.
• Strong understanding of operational planning methodologies (e.g., Joint Planning Process, MDMP) and exercise design principles (e.g., HSEEP).

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and evaluate comprehensive exercise plans and scenarios.
• Create realistic training scenarios using exercise design principles.
• Coordinate with participating organizations and government stakeholders.
• Provide after-action reviews and lessons learned to improve readiness.
• Plan and maintain Operational, Contingency, and Crisis Response Plans.
• Travel up to 30% CONUS/OCONUS.
