Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a senior Exercise Intelligence Planner to synchronize COCOM-level exercise planning and align resources with the overall design. You will lead cross‑organization coordination to ensure realistic, cohesive training for U.S. and allied forces.

You will develop MSELs, deconflict schedules, and apply JOPP/HSEEP methods while integrating cyber, EW, and space domains into scenarios. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years with Bachelor’s in related field; 13+ years with Master’s; 10+ years with PhD/JD; or 19 years with HS diploma.
• 9+ years of experience in exercise planning, integration, or military operations at senior levels.
• 10+ years in military intelligence operations across joint/service organizations.
• Experience developing exercise intelligence scenarios aligned with campaign plans.
• Coordinate intelligence support for large-scale exercises including IPB and ISR synchronization.
• Expertise in JOPP, HSEEP, and MSEL development.
• Deconflict schedules, resources, and storyline injects across multi-domain exercises.
• Knowledge of homeland defense and contingency operation planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communications; active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of exercise planning across NORAD/NORTHCOM J7, J2, J3, J4, J5 and partners.
• Develop and maintain the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL).
• Deconflict training schedules and resource allocations for seamless execution.
• Facilitate collaboration among leads and interagency representatives to validate requirements.
• Apply JOPP and HSEEP to scenario development and after-action reviews.
• Conduct mission analysis and risk assessments to inform scenario design.
• Prepare exercise support plans, synchronization matrices, and logistics docs.
• Monitor live exercise execution and provide real-time guidance.
• Produce assessment reports and lessons-learned briefs for leadership.
• Integrate emerging doctrine and advanced warfighting tech into training.
