Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Exercise Planner to join our team in Doral, FL. This role focuses on developing, executing, and evaluating comprehensive exercise plans to ensure readiness and response capabilities.

You will design training scenarios, control plans, and coordinate with multiple government stakeholders to align with strategic objectives. Required is a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in operational planning and exercise design, with DoD/government experience and knowledge of JTIMS, MDMP,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience in emergency management or related field.
5+ years in operational planning and/or exercise design.
Experience in government or military operational environments with diverse stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of planning methodologies (e.g., JPP, MDMP) and exercise design (e.g., HSEEP).

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and evaluate comprehensive exercise plans.
Create realistic training scenarios and control plans for exercises.
Coordinate with participating organizations and stakeholders.
Contribute to Operational/Contingency/C Crisis response plans with government partners.
Manage exercise execution, provide real-time feedback, and lead after-action reviews.
Analyze exercise data to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
Travel up to 30% CONUS/OCONUS.
